Early the next day, they all enjoyed breakfast in the new dining room.
After breakfast, Molly did some work in the greenhouse.
Elin started her first day of High School.
Sigrid went back to the Repository to finish her painting.
Molly went to earthworks after she finished in the greenhouse.
Molly made the new crops into preserves.
Sigrid finished the last bits of her painting and carried it to Earthworks.
She brought her finished painting to Earthworks to list it for sale in the gallery.
Sigrid decided to try glassblowing while she was there. She was amazed to create a gnome on her first try.
Molly listed her jams and checked for sales.
Afterword she had some tea and thought about what to do with the rest of the afternoon.
Sigrid saw Molly and joined her for tea. It was easier to have a chat with her without worrying it would lead to questioning.
Afterword they went out to fish before the pond froze again.
School let out, Elin called her mom to check if she could sign up for afterschool activities. She thought about getting a part time job so she could afford a car, or at least a bike. Afterword she joined them fishing.
Sigrid saw some butterflies nearby and went to catch them.
It was a pleasantly warm day for Autumn so Elin did her homework outside. Molly stayed to help her with it.
Sigird’s collecting led her to the carnival grounds. She picked a few lovely flowers while she was there.
Sigrid gave Molly a bag of things she had found that afternoon. Molly takes them over to Earthworks to process and sell on her way home.
The house was starting to become a home. Molly’s wood burning stove for her room and the living room arrived. She borrowed a little space from the dining room and was able to fit in a potting bench inside her greenhouse. It would be so nice to not have to run across town anymore.
Sigrid was shocked to find an easel in her room when she got home. She put it to use right away.
Elin didn’t mind that her old toy chest had been sold when she saw that they now had a living room.
They enjoyed having a warmer spot for dinner, even if it’s still bare.
Elin did the dishes. She smiled at the spot where her toy stove once stood. She was excited to try making food in the real kitchen.
Molly knew she still had a long way to go, but she was confident she would get there.
Things are definitely looking up! More wood burners, more bedrooms, an indoor dining area; but the best part might be having what you love doing readily available. I am still curious about Sigrid’s past and family and hope she resolves things.

So nice to see that all of Molly’s kindness and hard work was finally paying of! It is nice to see things became much more positive! Hopefully, Sigrid creates a masterpiece on her new easel..
